As we are currently scaling our brokerage business between startups and investors, we have the opportunity for an open minded and hands-on trainee to jointly rollout our unique investor and funding services. We are looking for
Investment professional - Traineeship (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Responsible for building out and maintaining a stable relationship with our innovative clients that are in need of funding and/or pitch consultation
- Take the lead in evaluating and advising our clients needs regarding pitch and financial readiness, pitch materials and introductions to potential investors
- Responsible for effective communication towards potential investors and funds – expand and evaluate our investors network, service the introduction and information flow between our clients and investors
- Owner of the funding service processes and pipeline within the team – update the process structure, pipeline, templates, contracts, and promotion materials
- Develop specific insights that are critical for financial transactions in the bike market - assess and identify trends to enhance our offering, market positioning and advance sales goals
- Hands-on operational support to daily activities, events and urging topics within the growing BikeBusinessHUB team
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferably with a focus on Finance, Business or Economics or some financial qualification such as IMC / CFA / CAIA
- 1-3 years of experience in a start-up funding or investment market environment – knowledgeable on funding processes either on receiving or funding side
- Curious and critical thinker, naturally interested in new products and technologies
- Strong written / verbal / proposal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all seniority levels across functional and geographic lines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Strong affinity with sports or the bike industry in either professional or personal life, driven to promote sustainable solutions in the active mobility sector
- European Union citizen, fluent in English and good knowledge of German (Spanish is a plus)
The offer
We offer a dynamic startup environment with lots of opportunities to learn and create successes. This 6-month working experience comes with the possibility to setup and rollout core processes in the team, and to define your own role and continued growth path after it. The renumeration will be partly fixed, partly commission based. The job can be done remotely but we prefer the candidate that likes to join us for some time at our base on sunny Mallorca.
