As BikeBusinessHUB we connect, empower, inspire open-minded professionals to scale their bike business in Europe. With over 20 years of market experience, we recruit suitable employees for bicycle manufacturers, we connect bike start-ups with suitable investors, and help companies to find business partners. Now we are connecting the dots between our successful international consultancy services and the local bike business community on the island of Mallorca. Our aim is to connect all stakeholders of the local cycling industry to promote cycling as a business opportunity, and to open the door for innovative and sustainable transport solutions on the Balearic Islands.
For the investigation and rollout of this Bike Business HUB project we're therefor looking for:
Bike Business Hub | Mallorca project developer (m/f/d) (Internship)
Bike Business Research (Feasibility):
- Research, analyse and capture the B2B Bike Business Hub market by:
- Research the bike industry market (in numbers) on the island, reach out (and visit) all types of local bike related companies: shops, rentals, cycling tourism, sport events, municipal initiatives and policies etc.
- Analyse business model potential by investigating the needs, development plans and interests of small and large bike Industry companies in Europe.
HUB | Mallorca Development (Business Case):
- Facilitate and participate BBH team activities as brainstorms, business modelling, planning and scenario development
- Co-create an economical plan (business case) demonstrating the viability of the business model
- Preparation of presentation and promotion materials (pitchdeck, business plans)
Bike Business HUB | Mallorca Rollout:
- Start creating a local network of cycling industry enthusiast and businesses
- Organization of meetup and networking events, including bike rides
- Setup and maintenance of social media, websites and marketing accounts
- Hands-on operational support to daily activities, events and urging topics within the growing BikeBusinessHUB team
Profile:
- Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Economy studies (or similar) with preferably some working experience (in any field).
- You are fluent in English (business proficiency) and a solid level of Spanish.
- You have a strong personal connection and proven affinity to cycling, or biking in any form.
- You are interested in entrepreneurship, startups, and innovation and its methodologies/ways of working
- You are a good networker, you like dealing with social media and have persuasive and precise communication skills.
- You have strong analytical skills, are well organized, can work independently with an open and creative mindset
- You are a humble person, eager to learn and capable to work in international team dynamics.
- Ideally you live in Mallorca or open to relocate for the time of the project
