Our clients ambition is to become the European leader in connected solutions for e-bikes by 2024. Their vision is to transform mobility for sustainability by encouraging the use of e-bikes through connectivity.
Theirs products and software are designed for the actors of the cycle industry and allow e-bike brands and fleet managers to offer services to their clients, protect from theft, improve the safety of cyclists, and lengthen the lifespan of e-bikes.
For that purpose we are currently looking for a sales person, reporting to the CMO, to develop their business in Central Europe as a
B2B Sales Manager DACH region Bike industry (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Generating business with new clients
- Providing long-term support to clients within the e-mobility industry (i.e., electric bike OEM´s; fleet operators; etc.)
- Managing the whole sales cycle, acting as the main point of contact for their clients:
- Identifying key stakeholders in target client organizations, and getting in contact with them.
- Identifying project opportunities and analyzing client needs
- Carrying out feasibility analyses
- Drafting and presenting proposals
- Closing deals
- Ensuring customer satisfaction
- Managing accounts throughout projects and following up to generate new opportunities.
- Participating in building strategic partnerships, particularly with engine manufacturers etc.
- Networking within relevant trade bodies, clusters, and other relevant organisations & Participating in relevant fairs.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with the client sales team and regularly reporting on sales.
Your profile
- You have an engineering or a business background or a similar education
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant sales experience:
- You are familiar with NBD techniques and enjoy opening doors with new clients. You’ve ideally led or been part of the development of a new market
- You have experience selling a relatively complex product, which requires a strong understanding of technical aspects in order to best support clients.
- You are at ease with selling technical products and co-creating solutions with clients and colleagues
- You ideally done business both in Germany and internationally
- You’ve worked within the bike industry, connected vehicles brands, e-bike engine or battery manufacturers.
- Fluent in German and English
- Comfortable operating within long sales cycles (approx. 12 months)
- Experience working in the digital, IoT, or electronics sectors would be a plus
- Frequent European travels required, mainly within the DACH region and to France.
