PentaLock is the future of bicycle security! Revolutionizing the bike security industry with our new fully integrated smart locking system, which is the most secure and convenient locking system for e-bikes. We aim to stop bicycle theft altogether, while not making it inconvenient for cyclists to lock their bicycle - using the bikes should be a joyful and easy experience.

We are a diverse team of skilled, innovative, and highly motivated people, located at our main offices in Aalborg, Denmark, 

At our official product launch at Eurobike 2021, we 5X’ed our target goals and have received a huge demand and request from bike manufacturers. We are therefore looking to expand our team on multiple fronts to accommodate the demand we are getting after Eurobike.

Chief Sales Officer - CSO (m/f/d)

As the CSO you will be part of the management team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Sell actively PentaLock security solutions to international bike OEM´s.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of company sales strategy aimed at driving revenue growth.
  • Lead revenue forecasting, and accountability for reporting progress to revenue targets.
  • Responsible for sales team personnel: hire, develop, and retain top talent for the sales organization.
  • Drive company strategy for customer acquisition.
  • Work cross-functionally with fellow members of the leadership team to foster collaboration.
  • Implement effective sales enablement tactics to help the sales team work more efficiently.
  • Develop new business proposals (including contributions to budget development) for potential new clients
  • Work closely with product, client service and technology team to assure strong collaboration across the PentaLock team in support of client solution
  • Represent PentaLock at trade shows, conferences, and similar events.

Your profile:

  • Hands-on personality with Entrepreneurial spirit, Passion, Resilience, and Leadership skills.
  • 5+ years of proven success selling directly to international bike OEM’s, 5+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • Strong and active network to OEM´s in the bike industry.
  • Proven ability to open doors and close deals.
  • Experience in building and leading international sales teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coach teams.
  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Proven technical understanding. 
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, preferred second language German or Dutch.
  • Preferably you are located in Denmark or in the DACH or Benelux-Region.
  • Willing to commute to our office Aalborg by plane (few times per month) + drive/travel to visit customers (30-40 % travelling time)
