We at Bike Business Hub are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales and Business Developer to lead the expansion of our international recruitment and investment services, as well as foster strong cooperations and partnerships locally. This role involves market scanning, lead generation, client relationship management, and business development for both www.bikebusinesshub.com and www.mallorcacyclinghub.com.
Your key responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Lead Generation:
- Scan the market by monitoring bike industry news, events and market trends, job boards, business platforms, as well as researching relevant companies and contact methods to identify potential leads and generate new business opportunities.
- Identify key financial trends in the bike industry that are critical for deal-making and service expansion.
- Actively connect and exchange with market leaders and decision-makers to build up strong partnerships.
2. Sales & Pipeline Management:
- Manage incoming contact requests from the website, LinkedIn, and emails, ensuring they are distributed to the appropriate team members to be followed-up on.
- Manage and track opportunity pipelines across different BBH services (recruitment, investment, consulting) in the CRM/ATS system.
- Organize, schedule and prepare meetings with potential clients, assist in meetings with the CEO, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Send out contracts to interested companies and ensure follow-up on agreements.
3. CRM & Client Segmentation:
- Own the company database and leads list, ensuring it is maintained and regularly updated within the ATS system.
4. Investment Services & Consultation:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients requiring funding or pitch consultations, as well as maintaining & establishing close connections to the investor network.
- Introduce clients to potential investors and manage the flow of information between clients and investors and our collaboration partners.
- Assess clients’ needs and provide advisory support on improving their investment pitches and preparing for investor meetings.
- Project-manage investment opportunities from lead generation through to closing deals, building connections between clients and investors.
5. Operational Support & Team Collaboration:
- Provide hands-on support to daily activities and ensure smooth operational management within the growing BBH team.
- Collaborate with team members on urgent tasks, event-organisation and business opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven experience in sales, business development or account management.
- Familiarity with the cycling industry, market trends, and key players is a plus.
- Strong ability to identify, prioritize, and convert leads into sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-centric approach in English and/or German. Any other language such as Spanish, French or Dutch are a plus.
- First experience in managing investor relationships and understanding investment processes or experience in world of start-ups and fundraising
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, ATS tools and pipeline management.
- Highly organized with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Strong team player as well as being able to work independently, manage multiple projects at once, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
