Our client is a long-established e-bike manufacturer with production operations in Poland and an international customer base across Western Europe. Following a recent ownership change, the company is entering a phase with a clear focus on operational execution, productivity improvement, and cost discipline. To support this phase, we are looking for an operations-driven leader who takes ownership of daily execution, people management, and measurable results at the production site.
Your role in practice
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the e-bike assembly and warehouse environment in Poland, with a strong focus on execution, structure and performance. This is an on-site leadership role with a clear emphasis on presence, visibility, and hands-on operational management.
Key responsibilities include:
Full responsibility for daily operations, production execution, and warehouse performance.
Translating company goals into concrete operational actions.
Driving productivity, efficiency, and cost improvements across production and logistics.
Managing operational performance, numbers, and results.
Working closely with production and warehouse leads on planning, material flow, and execution.
Managing and leading teams with a clear focus on performance.
Introducing structured operational practices.
What you bring
Must-have
Strong hands-on operations leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
Proven responsibility for production output, labor productivity, and unit cost
Solid understanding of production execution, line organization, and bottleneck management
Comfortable taking responsibility and making tough decisions when required
High tolerance for conflict and pressure, with a direct and pragmatic leadership style
Fluent Polish and English
Highly valued
Background in mechanical manufacturing, electronics assembly, bicycle, automotive components, or similar industries
Experience improving productivity and efficiency under cost pressure
Ability to quickly understand new manufacturing processes and take operational ownership
German language skills
