Marketing & Events Specialist (m/f/d)

BikeBusinessHUB is a B2B matchmaking consultancy in the European active mobility sector. We support cycling businesses through investment services, recruitment, and strategic collaborations. With over 25 years of industry experience, we work internationally while remaining deeply connected to local bike ecosystems.

Through our initiative, MallorcaCyclingHUB, we connect international bike businesses with the local cycling and mobility community on the island of Mallorca. 

In this role, you support and execute our marketing, communication, and event activities across BikeBusinessHUB and MallorcaCyclingHUB. You take responsibility for social media content across multiple channels, support the organization of events and trade shows, and help bring initiatives like Business on a Bike to life in Mallorca.

This is a hands-on role combining content creation, organization, and real-world interaction, with room to grow as the projects develop.

Your responsibilities

Marketing & communication

• Manage and maintain social media accounts across different platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) for multiple projects
• Plan, create, and publish engaging content (text, visuals, short formats) aligned with our brand and topics
• Support the implementation and further development of marketing and communication activities
• Keep contact databases up to date and support outreach efforts
• Research topics, trends, and needs within the European bike and mobility market

Events & community

• Support the organization and coordination of events such as trade shows, fairs, client visits, and networking formats
• Actively support and help organize Business on a Bike initiatives in Mallorca
• Maintain and update an industry event calendar
• Coordinate logistics for team travel, events, and external meetings
• Support relationship-building with industry stakeholders, both internationally and locally on Mallorca

Operational support

• Hands-on support in daily activities across BikeBusinessHUB and MallorcaCyclingHUB
• Support ad-hoc projects and urgent topics within a growing team

What we are looking for

• Experience or strong interest in marketing, communications, events, or similar roles
• Confidence working with social media platforms and content creation tools
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel
• Proactive, reliable working style with attention to detail
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English and Spanish; German or French are a plus
• Interest in cycling, active mobility, sustainability, or outdoor topics is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the team
