BikeBusinessHUB is a B2B matchmaker based in Spain, dedicated to driving growth and innovation in the active mobility sector. With over 25 years of expertise, we specialize in investment services, recruitment, and fostering strategic, win-win-win collaborations. Through our newest project, MallorcaCyclingHUB, we are bridging the gap between our successful international services and the thriving local bike business community on the island of Mallorca.
We are looking for a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting and executing various marketing initiatives that strengthen our position in the active mobility industry. Your responsibilities will include implementing our marketing and communication strategy and managing the social media presence for both BikeBusinessHUB and MallorcaCyclingHUB.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and further develop the marketing and communication strategy.
- Manage and grow our social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram for both BikeBusinessHUB and MallorcaCyclingHUB.
- Create fresh, engaging content (both visual and written) for our platforms that resonates with our audience and reflects our brand values.
- Keep our contact database up to date and assist with outreach efforts.
- Assist the team in engaging with key stakeholders in the cycling industry to reinforce our industry connections and partnerships, both internationally as locally on Mallorca.
- Maintain and update an industry event calendar, ensuring we stay informed and active at relevant events.
- Assist with organizing trips for the team, including booking flights, accommodations, and coordinating logistics for industry events and client meetings.
- Hands-on operational support to daily activities, events and urging topics within the growing BikeBusinessHUB and Mallorca Cycling Hub team.
- Analyse business strategy potential by investigating the needs and interests of small and large bike Industry companies and public stakeholders in Europe and on Mallorca specifically.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Spanish and English. German or French are a plus.
- Currently enrolled in university, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- A passion for cycling, active mobility or the outdoors is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to work independently as well as cooperating with the team.
- Knowledge of marketing and communication. Usage of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and familiar with content creation tools is a strong plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
